Insight Server is the groupware server and the replacement for Exchange. It runs on GNU/Linux. Insight Server communicates with Insight client and Outlook and fits thus environments where eventually Windows is in use and / or UNIX or GNU/Linux on the desktop.

Insight client is the Outlook functionality running on GNU/Linux and some UNIX versions. Insight client communicates with Insight Server and Exchange. This offers UNIX and GNU/Linux desktop users the possibility to communicate via groupware with the users of desktop computers with others software like Windows.
